United Methodist Women
Since 1958, women of the church have been organized to educate themselves about missions through an annual mission study, having speakers at their meetings and field trips. They are involved in mission projects such as Friends, Inc. IMS, CASA and Camp Sumatanga. Each year the UMW has a reading program emphasizing social action, education for mission, spiritual growth, and nurturing for community, two socials and host a Thanksgiving Dinner for the Retired Mountaineers.
